With over 20 years of hands-on experience in shipbuilding and hull engineering, Nguyen Sy Hieu brings extensive expertise in hull design, production drawings, 3D modelling, CNC nesting and vessel construction.

His career includes experience with leading shipyards in Vietnam and Japan, working across the full shipbuilding process from detailed design and material preparation through to block construction, installation, commissioning and sea trials.

Hieu has contributed to a broad range of vessel projects, including bulk carriers, container vessels, tankers, dredgers, tugs and multi-purpose vessels. His combination of technical knowledge and practical shipyard experience allows him to develop efficient, buildable hull designs with a strong focus on quality, constructibility and meeting owner, shipyard and classification requirements.
